Dear Mamzar, how special you are standing quietly between the two busy cities of life in the UAE, Dubai and Sharjah. You are not just a corniche where people come for a walk, a picnic, or to watch the sunset. You are a place where many people come to breathe, pause, and find a little peace away from the rush of life.
For me, Mamzar, you are more than just the sea and sand. You have seen every version of me. You have seen me sitting by your shore with tears in my eyes, missing my loved ones, thinking about life, love, career, and the uncertainties that come with it. You have seen my grief when I lost people close to my heart. But you have also witnessed my happiest moments, my smiles, my dreams, and the nights when I felt beautifully alive under the full moon.
The waves have listened to conversations that nobody else has heard. There were moments when I sat there talking to an imaginary person, sharing my thoughts, fears, hopes, and feelings. Maybe it sounds strange, but somehow your waves always felt like they were listening. The sound of the water gave me comfort, and the endless horizon reminded me that every feeling, no matter how heavy, eventually passes.
Coming from Sakaleshpura, a place surrounded by trees, hills, and endless greenery, I have always felt connected to nature. You are different from the landscapes I grew up with, Mamzar. You don’t have the forests and fields of my hometown, but you have your own beauty your waves, your breeze, your moonlit nights, and the silence that allows people to reconnect with themselves.
Some places are not just locations marked on a map. They become a part of our journey. They hold our memories, our tears, our laughter, and our untold stories. Dear Mamzar, you have quietly held mine.
